Well, it seems I neglected to post yesterday. Not sure how that happened! We have been very busy the last couple of days, visiting many puppies and we have finally found the newest member of our family .... meet Rosi! We found her through a Rescue place and she will be joining us on Sunday.
I haven't had a dog since I was a kid. I have always had cats. Cats are so simple. You throw them in the litter box once and voil'a! they are house trained! Not so with dogs, but this little gal is so sweet, that we'll surely forgive her all that! We met her mom, who is a Wheaton Terrier mix (maybe part golden retriever - we're not sure - but she looks just like the dog from "Because of Winn Dixie"). She had the sweetest personality. Hopefully Rosi will be just like her. One thing is for sure - life is going to get interesting!!!

Oh Rosi is really cute. Lots of luck. It's the beginning of a fun New Year for you !
This adorable puppy looks adored already! We always have a doggie, the current one for 11 years, her predecessor for 12. They truly become members of the family.
Oh Michelle: life is surely going to get interesting. Our lab loved to chew any and everything. Once we left to go to church and came back - my cushion and end couch were chewed to pieces. Not sure if goldens are as active but they are "retrievers" so those little mouths need to be filled with something bringing it back to you. Mine now helps me get groceries in from the car. I got a dog book on them and it helped to explain their breed alot. Maybe you could get one for your children. She is adorable. Mine is now around 70lbs and 5 yrs old. He needs lots of exercise/running.
Congratulations on the Rosi. Dogs rule, they just don't know it. Cats think they rule and act like it.

Oh Michelle, what a cutie!! Taryn, our German Pinscher, just turned 5 three days after Christmas and she has brought so much joy to our lives from the day we brought her home as a puppy. I can't imagine it any other way. My advice with potty training.............lots of patience :)
