Greetings and some Hand Dyes

Rosi wanted to say HI! She's 10 weeks now, and 15 lbs. We're still thinking she'll top out around 50 lbs. She's such a treat! Loves to fetch and will bring it right back to you, and has already learned some basic commands. We're working on the leash thing. She's quite happy to plod along next to you, that is until she decides she wants to STOP. We're really enjoying her, can you tell?

I am taking the class "Quilter's Palette" with Marjie McWilliams, through Quilt University. The goal of the class is to learn to dye colors that quilters might use in landscape or portrait quilts. What I like is that she only uses the 3 primaries and black (and fuscia once in a while) to get a whole myriad of colors. Here are my week one results - and I am 7 beautiful fat quarters richer!

Beautiful job! Isn't color mixing an eye-opening exercise? I find that in watercoloring also.

Glad you're having a good time at Q.U. You'll end up with such a good file of reference material.

Yes, yes.....cute doggie. *S*

Your doggie is so cute and I like the fabrics as well. Oops I see someone else has called your dog cute so it must be true.

These are beautiful colors Michelle -- HOWEVER -- they take a backseat to that precious pup!!!
