Thread Painting

This is a postcard I made for a trade. It was a great opportunity to play around with my new machine. The fabric is hand-dyed, and then hand painted. The words, brush, and orange spots are thread painted. I'm happy to say that I made an extra to keep! I'll post the ones I received as soon as I can get them photographed and uploaded.

I LOVE this piece. The one you sent me is on my wall at my day job. Whenever I'm having one of those "I hate my job" days I look up at it & it reminds me of who I REALLY am & it makes me smile :)

Hi, Michelle! I'm honored to have received one of your treasures! It's framed and hanging in my office. Thanks for the trade!

It was interesting to read how you created this piece.

Do you have a new sewing machine? Nice. What kind?
